In this video, I teach you a simple, but effectively technique, to quickly determine how you’re going to make money. Not, in order to do this the right way, you’re going to need to be able to learn what’s called house rulerships.
House rulerships are whenever planets rule houses. In Vedic Astrology, we focus on the 7 planets and the nodes. If you’re coming from Western Astrology, I already know, you’re going to be wondering how and why Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are not included. The reason for that, is because back in the day, some thousands of years ago when Vedic Astrology became a thing, the astrologers focused on the planets that could be seen. The outer planets cannot be seen; therefore, they considered the outer planets to not affect one’s daily life as much. Things haven’t changed much since then. People are still hustling, they’re still grinding, and they’re pretty much concerned about the same things they’ve always been concerned about which is: money, relationships, and family. The outer planets are are not as personal, but yes, they can be used in Vedic astrology (it’s just not used in the traditional sense of the word). You’re going to come across Vedic Astrologers who just flat out dismiss people who study the outer planets. I, for one, do study the outer planets, though. However, for today’s lecture, I’m teaching you the 7 planets, their rulers, and how to take that information in order to figure out how you’re going to put money in the bank.
The house rulerships are as followed:
Sun rules Leo
Moon rules Cancer
Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo
Venus rules Taurus and Libra
Mars rules Aries and Scorpio
Jupiter rules Sagittarius
Pisces Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius
Let’s take an easy example, such as an Aries ascendant, and figure out how they make their money. Now, this applies to all Aries ascendants. The first house, which is the ascendant, is Aries, right? Now, let’s go to the next sign, and we come to Taurus. Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus. All Aries ascendants make their money in a Venusian way. Next thing you’re going to do, is look at the chart of an Aries ascendant, and look to see which house that Venus is placed in. Is it in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th house? The house that Venus is in, will tell you, what area of life you or someone else, can attract people. This is great for making money, too, because Venus is the best planet for attracting money. After all, if you want to make money, then at the end of the day, you need to attract people.
This is not a complete list of what each house represents, but this is enough to get you started:
Venus in the 1st: Public spotlight or public image, as well as, the body (period).
Venus in the 2nd: Your face, voice (speaking), food, and stable and steady investments.
Venus in the 3rd: Social media, articles, magazines, business, the hands, cell phones, advanced technology, short distance travel, and teaching (quick lessons).
Venus in the 4th: Stay at home work, in your local community, arts and crafts (domestics), or domestic/national endeavors, such as the military, where one would protect one’s homeland.
Venus in the 5th: Your children, creativity, the arts, risky (but high return) investments, acting and entertainment, and advising.
Venus in the 6th: Health and wellness industry, service industry (whether you’re selling products or services or if you work for a company that does the same),
Venus in the 7th: Your spouse or partner, the law, and business. Negotiations and contracts.
Venus in the 8th: Medicine, psychology, surgery, the occult, investigations, taboo topics, mystery, sexuality, gender identity, change and transformation.
Venus in the 9th: Politics, religion, the law, teachers (long difficult lessons), academia, higher learning even if not in a traditional academic sense, long distance travel, philosophy, and authority figures who are deeply respected, period.
Venus in the 10th: Public service and/or CEO of a business or “the boss”. You’ve got employees or leading people in a group.
Venus in the 11th: Networks, affiliations, and associations. As Jay Z says, “you’re connect”.
Venus in the 12th: Foreign places and/or topics, private places, medical facilities, sexuality behind the scenes, behind the scenes, period, the biggest secrets that you don’t want to get out, and confidentiality.
The next thing after that, is to figure out the dispositor. This will complete, what I’d like to call your money map in your natal chart.
You need to determine first, where your second house is, and then, determine the planetary ruler, and finally, the dispositor. You use the same skills to figure out the dispositor. Dispositor is just a fancy word for saying “here’s what now rules this other house”.
Let’s say, that you are a Gemini ascendant, right? What would happen, if your moon was placed in the 12th house. Well, for one, your second house is in Cancer, and that means, that the ruler of your 2nd house of money, is in the 12th house. Next, you’d do the final step, which is to figure out, where the ruler of, now, the 12th house is. This is basically how it breaks down:
- 2nd house (Cancer) = Ruler of the 2nd house is the moon.
- Where is the moon placed? The 12th house.
- What planet rules the 12th house of Taurus? Venus.
- Where is Venus placed? The 9th house.
This roughly translates to: 9th house Venus (teaching) is how this person works behind the scenes (12th house) to earn money (2nd house).
Mind you, we actually need to look at so many other details to get really specific, but this can easily give one an overall basis for determining how you’re going to make your money, as well as, how other people can make their money. The more details you examine in the chart, the more precision you’ll be able to extrapolate.
